On east coast of Cotentin Peninsula, in a natural and relaxing atmosphere, La Gallouette camping suggests to discover its territory. Unique location nearby baches, fishing harbour, hiking trail along the sea, beautiful view on La hougue and Tatihou tower (Towers were built by Vauban), maritim landscapes in an authentic and traditional region.

Located by the sea, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue campsite is a great starting point to explore the city and its activites. 

At La Gallouette, it's also a time to visit Val de Saire to run through Barfleur, Gatteville lighthouse, castles and WWII heritage : beaches, blockhaus... following norman coastline with beaches, wonderful light coves. In addition, discover _La cité de la Mer_ and its famous submarine _Le Redoutable_ which is open for viewing, Chanel islands and marshes  of Cotentin...

If you are looking for gastronomy, sea food products : fish, mussels, lobsters, oysters... Vegetables of Val de Saire... Dairy products : butter, cream, caramel, cheese (camembert)... Many others on local markets.
